Ethical Policy

Overview

All journals published by us follow key guidelines set by COPE. We abide by its code of conduct and strive to meet the best practice guidelines. Our authors, editors and reviewers are expected to uphold ethical standards and avoid misconduct.

Ethical Guidelines for Authors

Authors are expected to uphold ethical practices in publication, include proper authorship attribution and avoid duplicate submissions. Also, they must also disclose any potential conflicts of interest and follow research ethics protocols.

Editorial and Review Conduct

Editors and reviewers are expected to ensure fairness and confidentiality in every manuscript they evaluate. They should follow proper protocols and disclose any conflicts before.

Plagiarism Policy

We have strict policies against plagiarized content. Authors needs to make sure that their work is 100% original. In case plagiarism is identified, we’ll abide by COPE guidelines.

Allegations of research or publishing misconduct

Since journal submissions are checked for similarity to other publications, we will inform EiC and managing editor in case such case arises. If the issue is valid, the submission will be held for further review.

The EiC will approach corresponding author, summarizing the concern and seeking an explanation. EiC may also request original data. The Ethics Panel will review the case and give final decision depending upon the author’s response. The result could include, warning, heightened review for future submission or even temporary bans.

Authors may be given a chance to correct their work. But if they fail to provide original data or explain the issue, the paper may be retracted.
