Publication Ethics

At IMDPI, every journal follows key guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Every research and publication misconduct is handled using the guidelines set by COPE.

Ethical Guidelines for Authors:

Every research publisher or author is expected to follow the following ethical standards:

No Dual Publication or Submission: Authors cannot publish the same work in more than one peer-reviewed journal or submit the same material to multiple journals at one time.

Zero Tolerance for Misconduct: Any material that consists of plagiarism, manipulation of data, false information, fails to disclose conflicts or engages in fraudulent practices will not be accepted. If you have any more queries about these actions, you may access information through COPE.

Conflict of Interest: Every author must disclose any conflicts (financial or non-financial) or interests that may negatively affect their research. Financial conflicts may include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, grants, or honoraria. Non-financial conflicts may include personal relationships or beliefs. Authors should mention conflicts in the 'Comments for the editor' section. If there are no conflicts, the author may mention 'the authors declare no conflicts of interest'.
