Author Guidelines

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors must ensure their manuscript complies with the following guidelines. Submissions that fail to meet these requirements are likely to be returned without being assessed by the reviewers:

  • I have reviewed the author guidelines, and my manuscript follows the journal’s formatting and submission requirements (non-compliant submissions will not proceed to review).
  • A separate file contains the title page with all author details.
  • The manuscript body is submitted without any identifying author information as it is mandatory for a blind review process.
  • This submission must not be previously published and is not under review elsewhere (any exceptions must be noted in the Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF format.

Author Guidelines

The Journal of Environmental Science and Health does not impose restrictions on the length of manuscripts submitted for consideration. Authors are obliged to submit a work that is original. Your manuscripts must not have been published previously or be simultaneously under review by another publication, otherwise may face rejection. The submission should include the following files:

  2. Blinded Manuscript: This should exclude author details and contain the study title, a 300-word abstract, three to six keywords, and sections for Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions. References should be listed at the end.
  3. Cover Letter: This optional file must state that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere, acknowledge support received, include a funding statement, conflict of interest declaration, authors' contributions, and a data availability statement.
  4. Suggested Reviewers: Provide a separate document listing three potential reviewers with their emails and affiliations.
