Author Guidelines

There are no restrictions for manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Social Sciences and Management Studies in terms of word limit. Ensure that the submissions are accurate and original and are not under review on other platforms. Please note that all manuscripts will be submitted online.

Submission Requirements:

Every submission is comprised of these two files:

Title Page: It includes the study title, authors’ names (in order), relevant author details (email and complete address) and affiliations. Avoid using titles (e.g., Dr., Professor).

Blinded Manuscript: This file excludes author details and includes the study title, an abstract (max 300 words), three to six keywords, and numbered headings: 1. Introduction, 2. Literature Review, 3. Methodology, 4. Results and Discussion, 5. Conclusions. Attach all cited references at the end.

     1. Manuscript Preparation Summary

Article Types:

  • Research Articles: These present original studies that offer new evidence or conclusions.
  • Review Articles: These provide thorough summaries of existing research in a particular field. It also incorporates critical evaluations and insights into future developments.
  • Case Studies: These involve field research cases requiring permission from involved organizations and individuals.

Article Length:
There are no restrictions on article length.

Acceptable File Format:
All manuscripts must be prepared in MS Word. Authors can also download already published papers from the journal to understand the structure requirement.

Font:
Use Times New Roman, 10 pt font size.

Title Page: Include the title, author names in order, and affiliations with full addresses and country names.

Manuscript Structure: The manuscript should contain the following sections: Abstract, Keywords, 1. Introduction, 2. Literature Review, 3. Methodology, 4. Results and Discussion, 5. Conclusions, Funding, Acknowledgements, Conflict of Interest, References, and Appendix (if applicable).

Abstract: The abstract must not exceed 300 words and should provide a brief overview of the article.

Keywords: Include three to six keywords following the abstract.

Tables and Figures: All tables and figures should be placed in the main text right after their first citation.

References: Authors are required to use the standard APA format for citations. Please ensure that all referenced materials are included in a list at the end of the manuscript, immediately after the conclusion. Authors are allowed to use tools like EndNote or gather references directly from Google Scholar, for assistance.

Cover Letter (Optional): Authors may submit a cover letter which states, “The given manuscript is not currently under consideration by any other platforms or has already been published in another journal”.

     2. Title Page

The title page must include:

  • Title: Should be brief and directly related to the study. It should also specify whether it involves human or animal trial data or if it is a systematic review.
  • Author List: Provide the full names of all authors in the correct order, along with their affiliations (including full address and country) and email addresses. Also, mention the corresponding author.
  • Funding: Disclose all sources of funding, including the name of the funding authority and grant number.
  • Acknowledgements: Mention any individuals or institutions that supported the research.
  • Conflict of Interest: Declare any potential conflicts.

     3. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should include the following sections:

  • Abstract: Provide a brief overview (maximum 300 words).
  • Keywords: Include 3-6 keywords after the abstract.

1. Introduction: Contextualize the study and highlight its importance and purpose.

2. Literature Review: Summarize the current state of research. Cite key publications and outline specific hypotheses.

3. Methodology: Describe the methods, including variables, data collection, and sampling techniques.

4. Results and Discussion: Present results concisely and interpret them about previous studies and hypotheses.

5. Conclusions: Summarize findings and limitations. You are required to suggest directions for future research.

  • Funding, Acknowledgments, Conflict of Interest, References, Appendix (if any): Include these sections as applicable.

4. Preparing Figures, Schemes, and Tables

  • Accepted formats: MS Word, TIFF, JPEG, EPS, PDF.
  • All figures, schemes, and tables should be inserted into the main text immediately following their first citation and numbered sequentially (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1).
  • Each figure and table must include a brief explanatory title and caption. Please use Microsoft Word’s table feature and refrain from using vertical lines.

5. References

Authors must adhere to APA format for citations and reference lists. Ensure that all cited literature is included at the end of the manuscript. Authors can utilize EndNote or Google Scholar for reference management.

6. Publication Ethics Statement

The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of integrity in scholarly publications through a thorough peer-review process and strict ethical guidelines. We do not tolerate plagiarism, data falsification, or unethical authorship practices. If plagiarism is identified during the review process, the manuscript may be rejected. In case any issues arise after publication, we may need to issue corrections or even retract the paper.
